The database contains information on the manufacturing processes of Winsor & Newton including high resolution images of each page of the original manuscripts. It is not practical to make this information available online so copies of the database are held at a number of ‘portals’;

  • Tate, London, UK
  • the Courtauld Institute of Art, London, UK
  • and in the Netherlands at the Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentatie, the Hague.

To apply for access to use the database at one of these portals you must download and submit the PDF form below to Winsor & Newton (an address is supplied on the form).
