Internship: Costs for Interns

The costs break down into three areas listed below. Up to date information for these costs are available from the University of Cambridge Graduate Prospectus.

  • University Composition Fee – this is for the teaching and supervision you will receive.
  • College Fees – directly payable to Colleges, this covers the cost to your College of providing a range of domestic and pastoral services and support. College membership is optional and not obligatory for interns.
  • Living expenses (maintenance) – your likely basic living expenses and personal costs.

The Graduate Union Alternate Prospectus is another source of useful information.

Please Note

At present the Hamilton Kerr Institute does not use the Graduate Application Pack from the Board of Graduate Studies. We use our own application process. It is only necessary to send a curriculum vitae and two references.
